7 Most Popular New Pizzas You Can Try Right Now

The 9th of February is National Pizza Day this year. While this isn’t an official national holiday, distributing a few pizza cupcakes at the office will likely go over well. Furthermore, it’s the ideal opportunity to try all the new pizzas released this year by Papa John’s, Domino’s, Little Caesars, and other chains. As if you needed an excuse to eat pizza first, right?

You’re doing it at a great time, whether taking advantage of a few National Pizza Day deals or just hungry for a slice (or three). Several popular pizza chains have recently introduced new pizzas or returned some old favorites. Furthermore, some new and returning pizzas are only available for a limited time.

    1. Papa Johns Crispy Parm Pizza

This new Papa John’s pizza goes way outside the (pizza)box, with a layer of crispy Parmigiano Reggiano cheese baked onto the underside of the crust. This unique pizza crust is only available for a limited time, but it sounds like one to try immediately.

    2. Pizza Hut’s The Big New Yorker

Over two decades since the nation first saw The Big New Yorker, a 16-inch diameter Pizza Hut pizza made up of six large slices that can be folded in half “New York-style,” topped with two types of pepperoni and Parmesan oregano seasoning. This foldable pizza is now available again for a limited time.

    3. Little Caesars Slices-n-Stix

Little Caesars first introduced a Slices-n-Stix pizza in 2020, but the chain’s most recent versions, which debuted this year, are a significant upgrade. Instead of just cheese bread, you can get a Slices-n-Stix pie with either jalapenos or bacon bits on the breadsticks half of the pizza.

    4. Domino’s Loaded Tots

Instead of releasing a new pizza with unusual toppings or a novel crust, Domino’s has crammed several of your favorite pizza toppings on top of crispy potato tots. Loaded Tots are pizza bites that were released just before the big game. Melty 3-Cheese, Cheddar Bacon, and Philly Cheese Steak are all options.

    5. Taco Bell’s New Mexican Pizzas

We’ll let the purists decide (or howl) whether Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza was truly a pizza—whatever the case, millions were ecstatic when it returned to menus last May. Then, at the end of 2022, we learned that the chain was testing two new Mexican Pizza variations, a Cheese Jalapeno Mexican Pizza and a Triple Crunch Mexican Pizza. What’s the catch? These new dishes are only available in the Oklahoma City and Omaha markets for now.

    6. MOD Pizza’s Super Shroom Pizza

MOD Pizza’s new Super Shroom Pizza, an even more mushroomy take on the chain’s earlier Bella Pizza, is a fungus fan’s dream. It has a mushroom pesto sauce, fresh mushroom slices, and non-mushroom ingredients such as mild sausage and spinach. This winter pizza is only available for a limited time.

    7. Hunt Brothers’ Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Hunt Brothers have brought back its Buffalo Chicken Pizza for a limited time in what appears to be an annual New Year’s tradition. To find it, go to one of the over 8,000 locations that sell this brand of pizza, which includes gas stations, convenience stores, markets, and others.
